[SALE] From the Zara fitting room

The sales are still in full swing on the high street and whilst much of the good stuff will have gone by now, the discounts are increasing almost by the day and if you’re willing to hunt through the rubbish, there are still some treasures just waiting to be discovered. Yesterday I hit the Zara sale (in Cardiff) and decided it might be fun to share my fitting room trials and tribulations with you.

I was given Photoshop Elements for Christmas (thanks dad!) and, as you will be able to tell from this post, I have just managed to find the time to play with it and have gone wild making collages!

Of all of the pieces I tried on, two came home with me for further consideration. For info, the animal print dress and the green dress were both priced at £12.99, the two jumpers were £9.99 and the orange and blue dress was £25.99. Regular readers will know that bright colours are really not my thing and despite liking the blue and orange dress I didn’t think it was very “me”. It also wasn’t quite the bargain that the others were! Two over-sized jumpers – to be added to a wardrobe filled with big jumpers (!) – seemed a little excessive, so I took home the blue and tan striped jumper with elbow pads. Of the final two dresses, I wasn’t sure that the drop waist of the animal print dress was doing much for me, so I chose to buy the green dress. I don’t know about you but I wasn’t sure that it was flattering as it came but with the addition of the belt to pull it in, it fits far better, don’t you think?
