Last month Zalando kindly sent me a voucher for their e-store to treat myself to a little something.
Whilst I love shopping on the high street, online shopping has it’s obvious benefits:
At Zalando, the choices are extensive. From high street brands to high end brands, you’re unlikely to be disappointed.
I was pleased to find two of my favourite British high street brands stocked, Warehouse and Oasis. I chose a pair of deep purple skinny jeans by Oasis. Perfect for dressing up or down, the purple shade allows them to be teamed with almost anything.
By Warehouse I chose a military style tee and a striped oversized jumper which I have practically lived in since it arrived.
Zalando offer quick and easy – and most importantly FREE – delivery which is fully tracked – something that any impatient shopper, like me, will appreciate. Free returns is also a massive bonus for an online store, I find as it means you can afford to try things out, as you would on the high street, without any added expenses if they’re not right.
If you’re looking for a last minute present or are yet to find the perfect outfit to see in the new year, here are my top picks:
A bow tie makes a quirky and fun gift (1); and a pair of headphones is rarely a bad choice if your man’s into music (2).

Have you shopped at Zalando?
When Zalando asked me to choose something from their site recently, I knew immediately that I wanted to choose a new leather purse as my old purse is showing sure signs of wear and tear. I decided, too, that I might as well allow Zalando treat me to a new designer purse! So, a couple of weeks ago I asked you to help me decide which Michael Kors purse I should choose and the general consensus was the orange. And here it is:
I hadn’t shopped at Zalando before and so I was intrigued by what sort of service I would receive. This is the main thing that concerns me when shopping online and the first thing that I check out in order to asess the level of service is the brands site. Zalando’s site is easy to navigate and has all of the information necessary for an enjoyable shopping experience. The extent and variety of stock available is another requirement I look for when choosing to buy online and Zalando certainly fulfills that!
And what of my new purse? Well, I adore it!!! The colour is perfect for the summer – and makes it easy to find in the bottom of whichever huge bag I’m currently using! The eight card slots mean that each of my various discount and loyalty cards have their own special place.
I always remember my mum telling me not to spend a lot on my purse, or I’d have nothing to put in it! Shrewd advice but when it’s a gift, I felt I may as well choose something a little more special that the usual. Do you splurge on special pieces or do you prefer to save your pennies to put into your purse?!
