Adverts are a part of everyday life and in order to get noticed an advert needs to do something a bit different. Cue, the new advert from car company Vauxhall. Starring iconic British model and presenter Abbey Clancy, “The Vauxhalls” is a clever short film which subtly showcases Vauxhall’s newest addition: the Adam Rocks Air.

James Brown’s directorial debut is a celebration of the best of British rock and roll style and attitude.
We love the quintessential British rock and roll style of Abbey Clancy’s groupie character in the short film. A sort of Kate Moss-esque look which includes undone smokey eyes and bed hair!
The film captures the fictional, aspiring band, The Vauxhalls, preparing for a late night gig in London. Shot in an edgier new light, the film shows Abbey Clancy getting ready alongside her band, putting as much focus on her fashion selection as rehearsing for their performance.
She takes the wheel of the Adam Rocks Air, driving the band through London’s nightlife to the venue. Inspired by agile parkour athletes who negotiate urban spaces, the car features a state-of-the-art Intellilink infotainment system which plays the film’s soundtrack, “Heart Is a Beating Drum” by renowned rock duo The Kills (Jamie Hince – Kate Moss’s other half – and Alison Mosshart) and a full length electric folding canvas roof to embrace the open air.
